This is our Grandfather. He lives with us and takes care of us when our mom and dad are at work. Grandfather doesn’t work anymore, he just retired. He used to be a Doctor. He really is the coolest and smartest grandfather anyone could ever ask for!  He loves us so much and spends as much as time as he can with us, playing games, cooking yummy snacks for us, telling us stories and best of all taking us on adventures on his Magic Rug! Yup, you read right, our Grandfather has a magic rug where we can travel back in time. Our adventures are the best because we learn a lot about Islam and the Ahlul Bayt. Maybe you can come along with us on our next adventure!

I am Yaseer. I attend the Shabaab al Mahdi School. Schools pretty cool! I like my teacher, but don’t really like all the homework we have to do! The best part of the day is when my Grandfather comes to pick us up. On the ride home he always tells us different sayings from the Ahlul Bayt. Grandfather always says that staying close to Ahlul Bayt and reading the Quran will help us become better Muslims. I think he is right, because the Hadith- the sayings from the Ahlul Bayt are easy things we can do and apply in our life. I really like listening & learning more about the Ahlul Bayt from him. I also love to play video games and sports.

I am Zahra, Yaseer’s younger sister. I like to shop, read and cook. I also go to Shabaab al Mahdi School. I love school, especially recess where we get to play soccer! Soccer is one of my favorite sports! Every Sunday, Yaseer, my Grandfather and I head to the park and play. After I score the winning goal, we all sit down and Grandfather always shares a story with us, and a hadith from the Ahlul Bayt. Yaseer and I have a competition to see how many hadith we can  memorize and apply to our lives. So far Yaseer has 5 and I have 4. Why don’t you join our competition!
